ABOUT CAROL POPE

President Oxyfitness Inc.

WHO AM I?

My friends call me a renaissance woman. "A renaissance woman is someone who sets her own agenda for personal achievement and will not allow herself to be manipulated or intimidated by others... She understands that she has been created for such a time as this and embraces her destiny as a challenge and not a curse, no matter what her personal circumstances. She is a winner not a whiner, a leader not a follower, a victor, not a victim."

Besides being a successful business woman, fitness trainer, life coach, actor and musician, I love learning. You could say "I'm hooked on growth and development." I've completed thousands of hours of training and education and studied with some of the finest coaches and organizations in the world.

To name some: University of Utah; Brigham Young University; Landmark Education; Impact Training; Harmony Training; and New Life Dynamics.

Coaches who have most influenced me: Dr. Robert Pope - Joy of Alignment; Byron Katie - The Work; BJ Dohrmann - Income Builder's 'IBI Global'; Anne Peterson - Wisdom Unlimited; Jeannette Maw - Good Vibe Coaching; Dr. Linda Nelson - Naturally Beneficial; Barry Berman - Mission Control; JoAnn Ottley - Sing for Life. I am a student of: A Course In Miracles, The Enneagram, and The Law of Attraction.

I am committed to use my 49 years of life experience, wisdom and knowledge to assist my clients in achieving optimum health and well-being, using a five step holistic fitness protocol I started developing over 20 years ago.

I am a mother of five extrordinary children and I'm married (for the second time) to the love of my life, Dr. Robert Pope (a chiropractic physician). Our home is in Salt Lake City, Utah. Between us we have 10 young adult children (ages 15 to 28) and four grandchildren!

We love music and art. I am a Classical soprano, actor and recording artist with 27 years of professional experience. I've starred in dozens of productions in Oratorio, Musical Theatre, Light Opera, and with Symphony Orchestras and Choirs in the U.S., Russia, Europe, and Canada.

Three unimportant things you don't need to know about me but I'll share anyway.

1) My children accuse me of "calling them like dogs", because I whistle loudly to get their attention. (That's so I don't strain my voice. It's something I learned years ago when I was a lifeguard.)

2) My husband says he can end any argument we have by asking me to please say it one more time only this time "sing it!"

3) What always brings me joy? Being with my husband, singing, dancing, being in nature, taking walks, hikes or a swim, especially in oceans and lakes, and tending my adorable granddaughters.
